RE: Why would someone shoot an abortion doctor?

They're thinking that they're saving lives. You have to bear in mind that some people believe that life begins at conception. From their own beliefs, abortion is the murder of a child. So, by killing a 'child murderer' they are actually saving children's lives. Let's face a fact here, had this murderer instead shot a man who was trying to stab a four year old child to death he'd be lauded as a hero. Well, in his mind (most likely) there is no difference between an unborn child and one who is four years old.
