That depends on the situation. For instance, if you are trying to play billiards then obviousely your balls are much more important. Pool halls tend to frown upon people shooting at the cue ball afterall. On the other hand, if you're in the Olympics sharp shooting competition and all you have is a bunch of ping pong balls, then you're pretty much screwed.
