I knew it. I just knew it. You...are...a closeted environmentalist, ha.
Here's another question for you.
Its Friday night and you're alone. Which one would you be more likely to do:
a) Go out to the local bar with your buddies and drink until you don't remember what's going on, then go out and hunt a squirrel, and have your woman roast it for you for a family dinner.
b) Go out to the local co op a buy a pound of (mmm!) tofu, a pound of "organic" beans, and prepare a feast for you and your bracelet wearing friends.

Well, since I don't drink, eat squirrel, or expect my wife to cook for me (we share that chore), how about I get my daughter and we go hunting for deer and feral pig, butchering it ourselves and making sausage grilled over a nice mesquite fire for the family dinner. Well, that might take more than just a Friday night, but we can try.
The recipe for the sausage does require a mix of some ground beef with the pork and venison. I usually like it in equal amounts.

You're making me hungry...LOL.
One firefighter I knew brought in venison one night and fried it up for us officers. It was fantastic! Makes me want some now that you mention grilling it...lol.
