Geneva County Sheriff's Deputy Josh Myers

Folks,

This deserves our attention. Deputy Josh Myers has experienced one of all of our worst nightmares, plus a response to a shooting call. We need to pray for our brother and his family. If you will, post a message to him and the Alabama community here to show your support if you wish.

This is just painful. And the shooter was also part of the blue family being a police officer at one time. The question of the day is - why?. It appears no one has an answer. Some where the man was reduced to feeling like nothing mattered anymore and neither did anyone else.

Please keep Deputy Myers and the people of Alabama in your prayers tonight.

If you catch this message Deputy Myers - my heart goes out to you and keep your chin up bro. You've got a heck of a lot of people just saddened by your day from hell and are praying for you tonight. Count your blessings still and keep your chin up
