National Parks, State Parks and LEOSA

Looking for thoughts...ok..it is now legal for individuals to carry in National Parks IF you are allowed to carry in the state parks the NP is located in? Correct? OK..now how would LEOSA fit in to the equation IF the state did not allow concealed carry in the state parks? I understand LEOSA does not override laws prohibiting concealed carry on state property, etc...but the NP is not state property....would someone covered under LEOSA be legal carrying in a NP in a state that prohibits carry in their parks?

RE: National Parks, State Parks and LEOSA

My guess is that you would not be covered in national parks that are in states that do not allow concealed carry. It would be an interesting question for a lawyer to look at, but my logic is that the case is a federal law forbidding concealed carry except where states permit it and the state did not permit it. The state law is overridden by LEOSA for the rest of the state, but LEOSA does not apply to federal law.

But that is just an opinion and I am not a lawyer.
