RE: What Skills Do I Really Need to Win a Violent Confrontation?
The predetermined unequivocal firm belief that YOU will win, prevail, succeed, etc. together with the ingrained, practiced skill to do so. NEVER surrender your mindset, bearing, or weapon. It has been said in many ways throughout history by warriors such as Sun Tzu, Herocletus, and many others... in a nutshell, whoever gets there first with the most, and is able to maintain clear thinking, WINS. Know what you can do, do it decisively, and quickly. Train, train, train, oh yeah...did I mention you should train. Know your policies, laws. When you're right, you'll not second guess yourself on legalities, although it will replay through your mind countless times. At least you'll be alive to think about what could have been done better. Whether you were right should NOT be part of that equation. Polish your community service skills, but don't forget to cultivate your warrior spirit and keep it finely honed. Stay alert!
