Need Info on Court Security Screening and ICD's
I am seeking anyone with info on Court Security Screenings and ICD (Implantible Cardioverter Defibrillator) wearers. Is there any agency out there that has a policy already in use that I can review. Our agency is studying complaints from ICD patients and that the electromagnetic fields produced from the Screening Devices alter or effect the electrical impulses from their ICD's and this could cause harm to the heart patients.
If you have any info, please e-mail me at tchestnut@cityofmyrtlebeach.com
Thanks in advance for any information or assistance
