Are the police really the solution?

Why aren't there more community groups and organizations to solve problems in society? The police are funded by the NRA, which is why there are so many guns. The police disempower and humiliate the people. We need some other solution, but we don't have one.

Actually, the Police are funded by local and state governments via your tax dollars. The NRA is a grassroots organisation which supports Police and police efforts but does not fund them in any way, shape, manner, or form.

As far as why there aren't more community groups and organisations...well, besides the ludicrouseness of you lambasting one organisation while lamenting the lack of same, bottom line is people don't want to put in the effort. Instead, they would rather the government which they voted into office fullfill their part of the social compact.

The NRA is in all things republican and everything you see on TV. Of course they are also pushing their agenda through the local police forces. I see their influence everywhere and it is scary. I am scared of the NRA. And where did this idea come in that it is Christian to own a gun?

The NRA is pro-freedom and in favor of small government. So is the Republican party. Not surprising they parallel on many issues. However, there are a number of Democrats who are also in the NRA.

The agenda of the NRA is support of the 2nd Amendment. Are you suggesting that Police departments should be against the Constitution of the United State?

A better question is what makes you think there is an idea that owning firearms is a Christian ideal? I mean no offense Oldhag, but are you off your medicines again? Your trolling is even more pitiable then usual.

Well, I guess maybe I should vote McCain. Then there will be more wars, and more soldiers and cops dying in a desert far away. Works for me and all the other people in america who are tired of abusive government agents. Won't have to do the job myself.

Nah, you better vote for Obama. HE is the one, afterall, who wants to invade our ally Pakistan and escalate the war in Afghanistan. He's also the one who wants to pretty much do away with the 1st Amendment (Fairness Doctrine) as well as the 2nd Amendment. Probably the 6th to while he's at it.

Well Max...if she's in ACORN I'm sure he'll be there in a jiffy! Gotta love it...claims his campaign has nothing to do with ACORN after giving them several hundred thousand dollars...

Know how you can tell Obama isn't being truthfull? Listen to any statement he says...everything after, "Hello, I'm Barack Obama...." is probably an untruth.
