DHS/ICE LEOSA Retired ID Announcement


The procedures for issuance of DHS/ICE LEOSA ID for retired LEOs from DHS/ICE and legacy agencies are in place. For more details: http://www.ice.gov./pi/topics/index.htm It is at the top of the page today. You have to e-mail for the application. The management directive was signed on October 12, effective 1 January, 2008. http://www.box.net/shared/ihvm54msrn Covers all retirees from DHS/ICE and legacy agencies who were LEOs as defined by LEOSA, regardless of whether they have 6(c) type retirement or not. The procedures roughly mirror those in place in the FBI and IRS CID.
