RE: June 2008 Arsenal—Kriss-TDI Super V Vector
My agency is not interested in any type of subgun. We only finally got permission to carry rifles this year.
And while I am interested in this, I have to admit that I see very little need for fully automatic weaponry in law enforcement. With all of the potential liability we have for every round fired, I find it hard to justify having a full auto SMG. Not being a SWAT Team member, I might concede a possible use for it there, but I am not sure ven then. And I have yet to see a use for full auto on patrol.

I was going to take the counterpoint, but after wracking my brain I couldn't think of one. Even during the North Hollywood shootout the officers probably would have been better served by heavy caliber rifles as opposed to submachine guns.
But dang if those weren't some sweet looking guns!

That is the truth Wolf. It is a sweet looking weapon and I would love to have it. But I can argue for a lot of different weapons my agency should be looking at, and this is not one.
I am currently trying to push for a heavy caliber rifle in addition to the .223 we are finally being allowed. I like a .308, and would even go for the .338 Lapua. I would love to be able to get a .50, but I can only come up with one or two very far out scenarios that would justify it.
