July 2008 First Look: Buzz Kill
Would you like a ballistic vest that resists TASERs, like those with ThorShield carriers from Point Blank and PACA? What other similar products would you like to see?

If you're giving them away sure! I'd love one! I don't know that there is really a need for those types of vests quite yet, but in a few years then yes, there will definately be a need.

I am currently more interested in the vests that stop knives, along with their ballistic protection. I see it as more of a threat. But I do support the concept of the material to stop the Taser. An officer should always have the defense against what they carried into the fight since it could be used against them.
