December 2007 Arsenal - Kel-tec PF-9 Pistol
I thought the review was fair and well written. I like the fact that the author pointed out the compromise inherent in any pistol designed for concealment (size and power versus controllability). I have the same complaint with my BUG, a .380 that is well hidden but a bear to shoot in practice.
I have never been impressed with the Kel-tec line of pistols. I don't know why not, but I just have never liked them. They feel like a slightly lower quality pistol to me but it is just an impression and I cannot say why I got it. It might have been from the earliest models and things have changed since then. But I do know officers who have them and carry them either as off duty pistols or as back-ups. These guys love them and swear by them.
