Inmate Stabs Correctional Officer at California Prison
Corcoran State Prison locked down their facility after a female correctional officer was stabbed on Tuesday with a "manufactured weapon," KMPH reports.
The officer was stabbed at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, which is on the same land as the prison, by a male inmate who is a Level 4 maximum security prisoner.
The officer has since been released from the hospital, and is expected to be okay. The inmate has been placed in administrative segregation.
