Execution Set For Killer of Florida Wildlife Officer

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist has signed the death warrant for Martin Grossman, who was convicted of killing Margaret "Peggy" Park, an officer with the Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission.

Grossman will be put to death by lethal injection on Feb. 16.

Grossman shot and killed Park with her service weapon on Dec. 13, 1984, after the officer interrupted him shooting a stolen handgun with a friend in Pinellas County.
