American Technologies Network (ATN) has introduced the PVS14-3 (1AA) night-vision monocular for law enforcement and security professionals.

The ATN PVS14-3 uses Gen 3 image intensifier tubes that have a micro-channel plate, gas photocathode and a self-contained integral high-voltage power supply. ATN's tubes combine increased resolution, signal-to-noise ratio and photosensitivity to achieve "superior clarity," according to the company.

The PVS14-3's rugged housing is environmentally rated as water resistant and complies with MIL-STD-810. This night-vision monocular runs for up to 50 hours on one 1.5V AA battery.

The ATN PVS14-3 (1AA) arrives with lens tissue, a neck cord, lens cap, 1.5V AA battery, demist shield, head-mount assembly and a sacrificial filter. It retails for $3,199.
