Two students were wounded and hospitalized. Jefferson County authorities identified the alleged gunman as Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood, 32. He was held on two counts of attempted murder, said Jacki Kelley, spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

A standoff with SWAT officers began Tuesday, as officers arrived at the home of 43-year-old John Hickey in Bangor, Calif. The warrant stated that Hickey possessed a firearm, which is a violation of a restraining order that names him in a domestic violence case.
