Four Texas Officers Shot In Narco Raid

Lt. Jorge Suarez was the most seriously injured, as a bullet traveled under his vest, and Officer John Diaz was struck in the cheek, shoulder and abdomen.

Four San Antonio (Texas) PD SWAT officers were wounded in a hail of gunfire, while serving a drug-related warrant on Thursday afternoon, reports the San Antonio Express News.

Lt. Jorge Suarez and Officer John Diaz were critically injured, and officers Edwin Turner and Daniel Elborne were also wounded. All were wearing protective vests and helmets labeled "POLICE."

Suarez was the most seriously injured, as a bullet traveled under his vest, and Diaz was struck in the cheek, shoulder and abdomen.

Suspect William Carrol, 29, was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted capital murder.
