Penn. Officer Dragged 100 Feet, Seriously Injured

A Freeland Borough (Penn.) Police officer was dragged about 100 feet by an SUV, after reaching into a suspect's vehicle to turn off the ignition.

Officer Mathew Williams responded to a disturbance call on Thursday at 620 Ridge St. at about 3 p.m., reports WFMZ.

Officer Williams encountered Michael Daniel Mokshefski Jr., 27 sitting in his Jeep SUV. The officer attempted to interview Mokshefski, who ignored an order to shut off the engine. When the officer reached into the window, Mokshefshi accelerated.
