A Manhattan jury awarded former Playboy Playmate Stephanie Adams $1.2 million on Tuesday in an excessive-force judgment against the New York Police Department.

The award was given to Adams, 41, for injuries suffered during a 2006 arrest. She claimed cops threw her to the ground at gunpoint after a bizarre confrontation with a cabbie, who refused to carry her clothing into her apartment.

The award was for $385,000 more than what her lawyer had asked for, reports the New York Daily News.

Act like an intelligent human being and you don't have to worry about being thrown o the ground by the police. I am SURE her BEHAVIOR and MOUTH had NOTHING to do with it.

Maybe he made a comment about her mustache?

I'm guessing her sense of entitlement and mouth escalated the situation. I'm sure the jury was just worried that her broken nail impacted her lifestyle. Disgusting.

You sound like bitter cops. she won and deserved to. Justice was served for idiots who thought they could get away with harming her.
