Slain N.J. Cop's Fiancee: No More Layoffs

Speaking to an audience of New Jersey state senators, the fiancee of slain Lakewood (N.J.) Police Officer Christopher Matlosz said the thought of laying off more cops "makes me sick to my stomach."

Speaking to an audience of New Jersey state senators, the fiancee of slain Lakewood (N.J.) Police Officer Christopher Matlosz said the thought of laying off more cops "makes me sick to my stomach," reports the Asbury Park Press.

Kelly Walsifer, 24, has been in near seclusion since Matlosz's Jan. 14 duty death, visiting a local convent and praying with nuns. On Monday, she said she can learn to forgive God.

"I'm so angry with Him,'' Walsifer said, her voice breaking.
