TNT Renews Southland for Third Season

TNT has ordered a 10-episode third season of the police TV show "Southland."

The gritty cop drama, which TNT resurrected after NBC canceled the show before its Season 2 premiere, averaged 2.7 million viewers during its second season on the cable channel. The numbers were below the network's average, which left the show's fate in question.
