Feds Give $30 Million to Local LE Agencies for Border Security
The U.S. government will give an additional $30 million in federal grant money to help local law enforcement agencies combat border crime, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The $30 million in grant funding announced on Tuesday will go to law enforcement agencies along the border for overtime, travel and other costs, according to Homeland Security officials.
