Georgia Officer Kills Gunman After Being Shot in Vest
A Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., police officer who was shot in the chest by a gunman killed his assailant, according to police. The gunman's bullet was stopped by the officer's vest, the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
Police Chief David Eubanks said earlier today that Officer Mitchell Moore is expected to be released soon from Erlanger hospital.
